FPL’s Power Monitoring service records voltage conditions, such as:
- Momentary interruptions
- High- and low-voltage occurrences, and
- Power outages.
FPL's Power Monitoring service for businesses provides 24/7 remote monitoring of your facility for power problems.
Who is Power Monitoring for?
FPL's Power Monitoring service is for businesses that are:
- Dependent on sensitive electronic equipment
- Have multiple locations
- Unmanned sites, or
- Equipped with refrigerant/ heat sensitive inventory.
How it works
A power monitor meter is installed at your electrical service point and records voltage conditions. When problems occur, the system:
- Notifies the Central Processing Center
- Notifies your designated contact, and
- Forwards a trouble call to FPL on power outages for restoration.
You also receive notification detailing the date and time of the power interruption and when your power was restored.
